Meet the Owner of Alpine Christian Counseling

Hi! I’m Natasha, and I’m so glad you are taking the first step toward healing

I ‘m so glad you’re here.

I have a passion for working with women of all ages. I adore working with adolescent girls struggling with anxiety, trauma, PTSD, or OCD. I'm a mother of three, and my personal birth trauma was a catalyst to becoming a trauma counselor and helping women on the journey of motherhood. I have a passion for helping women who have experienced trauma, mothers with young children, pregnant women, perinatal women, and those who are on a fertility journey and dream of becoming mamas.

I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, CBT, and DBT to help individuals process trauma. I also utilize a positive strengths-based approach to help individuals overcome challenges, learn and apply new skills, and improve their overall quality of personal, relational, and occupational life. It’s my goal to provide Christian women with a trauma counseling approach that incorporates faith and evidence-based mental health treatments in a powerful way.

I have my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Northwest University. I’m currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at the University of the Cumberlands.

We believe therapy should give you the tools you need to succeed.

This is not traditional talk therapy.

Here at Alpine Christian Counseling, our approach to therapy is a collaborative process. We provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental place to freely explore thoughts, experiences, and feelings. We will work through past traumas together, utilizing your strengths to grow hope for the future.

Our shared Christian faith is incorporated into therapy sessions if you choose for Jesus to be a part of your healing process. We will merge God-given knowledge in the field of counseling psychology with Biblical guidance and faith-based support. We see both Christians and non-Christians at Alpine Christian Counseling.

Therapy doesn’t have to be all sitting & talking.

We’ll also work on real, practical skills that you can apply to your day-to-day life.
